4-Pyrrolidin-2-ylpyridine can be used in aldol catatlysis, in the preparation of azole compounds as 11β-HSD1 inhibitors as well as in the asymetric synthesis of pyrazolodihydropyrimidinylpyrrolidin amide derivatives.
