Chemical properties
S-Adenosyl-Lmethionine, SAM has a good therapeutic effect on depression and arthritis. It is an important metabolite that is ubiquitous in all biological cells. SAM can participates in the transmethylation reaction, transsulfurization reaction and transaminopropyl reaction of cells, and plays an irreplaceable role in the methylation modification, sulfur group storage and transfer of important intracellular molecules.
Biological Activity
S-Adenosyl-DL-methionine is a derivative of Ademetionine (HY-B0617). Ademetionine is an intermediate metabolite of methionine.
