Hydrazine dihydrochloride is used as chlorine scavenger in HCl gas streams.
What are the applications of Application
Hydrazine dihydrochloride is an amine compound, which can be used as organic synthesis, chemical intermediate in manufacture of agricultural chemicals, spandex fibers and antioxidants. Reducing agent; organic hydrazine derivatives; rocket fuel.
Purification Methods
It is recrystallised from aqueous EtOH and dried under vacuum over CaSO4.
