The Uses of 1,2-Dimethylhydrazine Dihydrochloride

1,2-Dimethylhydrazine is a potent carcinogen that acts as a DNA alkylating agent. It is used to induce colon tumors in experimental animals. It was also used in preparation of spiroisoquinolinedione aldose reductase inhibitors.
