Titanium ethylhexoxide Structural

What is Titanium ethylhexoxide?

Chemical properties

viscous colourless liquid

The Uses of Titanium ethylhexoxide

Esterification catalyst for plasticizer production, transesterification catalyst for higher acrylates, and olefin polymerization catalyst.Titanium(IV) 2-ethylhexyloxide is used to formulate adhesives, sealants, lubricant additives and coatings. Further, it is used as a good catalyst for esterifications and transesterifications reactions. In addition to this, it also improves the hardness of surface or gives better dispersion and adhesion, anticorrosive properties and hydrolytic properties in order to use in surface treatment of glass, metal, fillers and pigments.

Flammability and Explosibility

Non flammable
