(+)-Cloprostenol sodium is a prostaglandin that lyses the corpus luteum in cattle. (+)-Cloprostenol sodium can be used in combination with other drugs to synchronize estrous cycles for fixed-time artificial insemination in lactating cows and beef cattle.
