What is Polyethylene, Oxidized?

Chemical properties

white to very slightly yellow pellets

Characteristics

POLYETHYLENE,OXIDIZED is a water-soluble and thermoplastic non-ionic linear high molecular polymer, which has the properties of flocculation, thickening, slow release, lubrication, dispersion, retention and water retention.

The Uses of Polyethylene, Oxidized

Oxidized polyethyleneis is a specialty polymer that finds a wide range of applications as an additive in a broad range of industries.

Definition

ChEBI: Polyethylene, oxidized is an oxo carboxylic acid.

What are the applications of Application

Polyethylene, Oxidised (OPE) and polyethylene (PE) were blended by polymerisation to prepare a novel PE/OPE blend. The concentration of OPE in the PE/OPE blends was increased from 0% to 50%, and the melt temperature was reduced from 123°C to 119°C, with a consequent decrease in thermal stability.OPE was present in the PE lamellae, and the thickness of the lamellae decreased with an increase in OPE inclusions, leading to an increase in brittleness.

Properties of Polyethylene, Oxidized
