General Description
Succinamic acid forms binuclear europium complexes. It forms mixed valent platinum blues with K2PtCl4.
Purification Methods
Crystallise the amide from Me2CO or H2O and dry it in a vacuum. It is not very soluble in MeOH. It is converted to succinimide above 200o. [Beilstein 2 H 614.]
