The Uses of SODIUM CYCLOPENTADIENIDE

Sodium cyclopentadienide is used as a reagent for the preparation of metallocenes. It is used to prepare Cp-cobaltacycles from diphenylphosphinoalkynes and CoCl(PPh3)3. It is a useful reagent for the preparation of metallocenes and cyclopentadienyl metal complexes.
