Description

Polydimethylsiloxane hydride terminated is soluble in many organic solvents, such as aromatic hydrocarbon and petroleum hydrocarbons, and so on. it is a kind of widely used organic silicon intermediates, and can be used as organic silicon blocking agent usually. Due to containing reactive Si-H groups in the molecular structure, it can be used in the synthesis of copolymer macromolecule by hydrosilylation. The synthesis of copolymer macromolecule can be made into a series of reactive silicone oil.

HYDRIDE TERMINATED POLYDIMETHYLSILOXANE is the hydride terminated form of polydimethylsiloxane, which belongs to a group of polymeric organosilicon compounds. It can be used as a common surfactant and an antifoaming agent. It can also be applied as the active silicone fluid in automotive viscous limited slip differentials and couplings. Moreover, it is commonly used as a stamp resin in the field of soft lithography. Finally, it can also be supplemented to the over-the-counter drugs as an antifoaming agent and carminative. For example, it is seen in many skin care and beauty products to prevent water and moisture loss in the skin through forming a hydrating barrier.
