The Uses of Ethyl 5-bromovalerate
Ethyl 5-bromovalerate is employed in the preparation of S(γ-Carboxypropyl)-DL-homocysteine and S(δ-Carboxybutyl)-DL-homocysteine. It is also used in the preparation of ethyl 5-azidovalerate.
