What is BARIUM PERCHLORATE TRIHYDRATE?
Chemical properties
White Crystalline Powder
The Uses of BARIUM PERCHLORATE TRIHYDRATE
Manufacture of explosives, experimentally in rocket fuels.
The Uses of BARIUM PERCHLORATE TRIHYDRATE
Barium perchlorate, trihydrate, reagent is an extremely powerful oxidizing agent, and therefore commonly used in industry and pyrotechnics. It is also used in RPE-For analysis. It is used as an oxidizing agent, for gas drying, for ribonuclease determination and in the water analysis for sulfate titration with Thorin as indicator.
Hazard
Oxidizer, fire and explosion risk in contact with organic materials. Toxic by ingestion. See barium.
