Preparation
Preparation by reaction of acetic anhydride on orcinol, ? with concentrated sulfuric acid at 130° (65%) ; ? with Amberlite IR-120 or Zeokarb-225, cation exchange resins (sulfonic acid type) at 160° (20%).
