2-Bromo-3′-nitroacetophenone may be used in the preparation of 2-bromo-3′-nitroacetophenone. It may be used in the preparation of 2-hydroxy-ethyl-1-[(3-nitro-phenyl)-2-oxoethyl]-piperidinium bromide.
