What is WP631?

Description

WP631 is a novel bisintercalating anthracycline. Potent inhibitor of Sp1-activated transcription.1,2 Induces caspase-dependent apoptosis in human ovarian cancer cells.3 Synergizes with epothilone at induction of apoptosis in human ovarian cancer cells.4? Abrogates HIV-1 replication via inhibition of Tat transactivation.5
