2-Phosphono-4-pentynoic Acid Triethyl Ester, can be used as an intermediate for the synthesis of pharmaceutical products including inhibitors and anticancer compounds. It is used in the synthesis of noncompetitive α-2,3-sialyltransferase inhibitor.
