Petunidin chloride is the chloride salt of Petunidin, an anthocyanin pigment that contributes to the bluish colour in flowers such as the Petunia hybrida and in fruits such as blueberries.

ChEBI: Petunidin is an anthocyanidin cation that is flavylium bearing five hydroxy substituents at positions 3, 3', 4', 5 and 7 as well as a methoxy substituent at position 5'. It has a role as a plant metabolite. It is a conjugate acid of a petunidin(1-).
