p-Xylene-α,α,α,α',α',α'-d6 is the labelled analog of p-Xylene (X749410) which is a colorless organic solvent used in the production of benzoic, isophthalic and tetraphillic acids. p-Xylene-α,α,α,α',α',α'-d6 was used in study to investigate the effects on solution electron affinity due to deuteration on methyl groups vs ring deuteration on p-xylene.
