What is oxysophoridine?

Description

This alkaloid has been described by Russian workers who have isolated it from Sophora alopecuroides L. It yields colourless needles from Me2CO and a specific rotation of [α]D- 50.6° (c 0.555, EtOH). Acetylation furnishes the O-acetate withm.p.14S-7°C.
