What is IRON PEPTONATE?

The Uses of IRON PEPTONATE

Casein peptone is used in nutrient media for growing bacteria and fungi. It is employed in antibiotics and enzyme productions. It is also essential for analytical microbiology and industrial fermentation process. It is also used in bacterial diagnostics and in agro-food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical fermentation for production of biomass.

The Uses of IRON PEPTONATE

Tryptone-yeast extract-glucose medium may be used in response surface methodology in order to find optimimum conditions for the growth of Lactobacillus casei YIT 9018. It was also used in the media used in the growth experiments with Escherichia coli MG165, conducted in order to monitor the bacteria for long term which underwent programmed population control, in a microchemostat, in an approach to prevent biofilm formation. Tryptone glucose extract agar (TGEA) along with gypsum board may also be used to cultivate Streptomyces albidoflavui in order to produce volatile metabolites. Tryptone may also be used in STGG (skim milk, tryptone, glucose, glycerol) medium at -80°C, which is used to preserve Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, and Moraxella catarrhalis isolates for atleast 3 years.

The Uses of IRON PEPTONATE

N-Z-Amine? has been used in culture mediums to grow and produce enterotoxins by Staphylococcus.

What are the applications of Application

Tryptone is an enzymatic digest of casein that may be used in STGG mediums to preserve isolates for at least 3 years.

General Description

Peptone from casein, pancreatic digest is a high quality source of amino acids and peptides produced by the enzymatic digestion of casein. It is recommended for laboratory media and fermentations and has been used in antibiotics, toxins and enzyme productions.

Biochem/physiol Actions

N-Z-Amine? B is a pancreatic digest of casein. It has been used in culture mediums to grow and produce enterotoxins by Staphylococcus.
