General Description
Disperse Red 13 (DR13) is an azo dye that can be used as a non-linear optical (NLO) material. It is an azobenzene functionalized molecule with reversible cis-trans photoisomerization, which can be used for optical memory and switching devices.
Properties and Applications
Blu-ray red. Dark red powder. Soluble in ethanol, acetone is a deep red, soluble in benzene and pottery, especially solvent. The strong sulfuric acid to orange to brown, diluted for blu-ray red; In nitric acid solution for orange, in strong hydrochloric acid for blu-ray red solution, sodium hydroxide solution in the thick of colour and lustre is no change. : used for polyester, vinegar fiber, three vinegar fiber and acrylic and blended fabric dyeing and printing, also can be used for wool and plastic color.
