What is Diphenyldiethoxysilane?
Chemical properties
Colorless or yellowish transparent liquid
The Uses of Diphenyldiethoxysilane
Reagent for preparation of diphenylsilylene derivatives of diols by exchange.
The Uses of Diphenyldiethoxysilane
A new diethoxydiphenylsilane based solid-phase microextraction fiber was developed to extract trace levels of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in millk, {48} human urine.{49} Diethoxydiphenylsilane based coating can be used to detect explosives (2,4,5-trinitrotoulene, 2,4-dinitrotoluene, 2,4-dinitrotoluence) and explosive taggants (ethylene glycol dinitrate).{50} This alkylsilylation reagent may be used for surface modification of nanoporous rice husk silica (RHS).{51}
