Diglycerol was used in cosmetic deodorants. It is also a component in thickening and gelatation agents.

The Uses of DIGLYCEROL

diglycerin can increase the water content in the top layers of the skin. Formulators may select this ingredient for its humectant properties, and also when needing a skin-conditioning agent or a solvent. It is synthetically manufactured.
