Difurfuryl sulfide is a white to brown low melting solid or yellow liquid with a roasted coffee odor. It is used in edible flavor blends for coffee, cocoa, sesame oil, and meat.

Reported found in coffee.
Preparation
By refluxing a mixture of 2-furyl-methanethiol in ethanolic KOH and furfuryl bromide in ether.
