What is DI-N-HEXYL PHTHALATE?

Chemical properties

The structural formula of DiC6P varies because the iso-alcohols used in the manufacture contain several isomers. DiC6P is a watery white liquid with a mild odor. It is a liquid from -33°C (pour point) to 340–350°C (boiling point). The vapor pressure is 0.01 mmHg (100°C). DiC6P is essentially insoluble in water, but it is soluble in organic solvents. It has a specific gravity of 1.01.
