What is cevine ?

Description

This alkaloid, also isolated from Schoenocaulon officinale, A. Gray by Merck has been shown to be identical with Cevine (q.v.).

Definition

ChEBI: A steroid consisting of cevane having an oxygen bridge between positions 4 and 9 and carrying seven additional hydroxy substituents.
