Dineophyltin Dichloride is an intermediate in the synthesis of Dihydroxybis(2-methyl-2-phenylpropyl)-stannane (Technical Grade) (S125400). Dihydroxybis(2-methyl-2-phenylpropyl)-stannane is a metabolite of Fenbutatin Oxide(F247230) which is an organotin pesticide. Fenbutatin Oxide is widely used as an aracacide in the control of mites, in particular spider mites.
