Benzaldehyde-(carbonyl-13C) is the (carbonyl-13C) labelled analogue of Benzaldehyde (B119740) which is mainly used as a precursor to other organic compounds, such as pharmaceuticals, and plastic additives. It is also the primary component of bitter almond oil and can be extracted from a number of other natural sources, and thus can be used for the almond flavor.
