The Uses of AMBERLITE(R) XAD-4

Polyaromatic adsorbent for small hydrophobic compounds, surfactants, pharmaceutical manufacturing, phenols, chlorinated organics and organic removal from aqueous food streams. It is impregnated with KCN or NaCN, has been used for the conversion of aromatic acyl chlorides to acyl cyanides and of formation of trialkylsilyl chlorides to the silyl cyanides.
