The Uses of Allylamine hydrochloride
Allylamine hydrochloride is an organic intermediate that can be used to prepare polymer nanocomposites and sevelamer carbonate.
Preparation
Allylamine hydrochloride is obtained by reacting allylamine with concentrated hydrochloric acid.
Add 20ml of allylamine to a four-necked flask equipped with a stirrer and a thermometer, control the temperature at 0°C, and slowly add 25ml of concentrated hydrochloric acid dropwise under stirring within 1h, until pH=5~6 to stop the reaction, The unreacted hydrochloric acid is removed by rotary distillation to obtain a high concentration of allylamine hydrochloride.
