D,L-1′-Acetoxychavicol acetate is a natural compound first isolated from the rhizomes of ginger-like plants. In this way, D,L-1′-acetoxychavicol acetate reduces several intracellular signaling pathways, including NF-κB, impacting inflammation, cancer, viral replication, and other processes.
