The Uses of 1,4-Bis(2-hydroxyethoxy)-2-butyne
1,4-Bis(2-hydroxyethoxy)-2-butyne is used as a brightener for nickel electroplating as well as in the dyeing of acryilic fibers.
Synthesis
1,4-Bis(2-hydroxyethoxy)-2-butyne was synthesised by using 2,2'-(but-2-yne-1,4-diylbis(oxy))diethanol ditrityl ether as a raw material in the presence of inert gas.
