What is 1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolaMine-N-[PDP(polyethylene glycol)-2000] (aMMoniuM salt)?
Description
DSPE-PEG-PDP, MW 2,000 is a linear polyPEG containing a DSPE lipid group and PDP. The hydrophobic properties of the DSPE allow for the encapsulation and congregation of other hydrophobic drugs. The PDP group selectively reacts with thiol, sulfhydryl or mercapto to form a disulfide bond.
