Definition

ChEBI: Quinpirole is a pyrazoloquinoline that is (4aR,8aR)-4,4a,5,6,7,8,8a,9-octahydro-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-g]quinoline substituted by a propyl group at position 5. It acts as a dopamine agonist. It has a role as a dopamine agonist.

Biological Activity

Selective dopamine D 2 receptor agonist (K i values are 4.8, ~24, ~30 and 1900 nM at D 2 , D 3 , D 4 and D 1 receptors respectively).
