Our history begins in 1936,when late Mr. Gopal Karandikar established the company Pearl Products Company Private Limited in Mumbai. The company was a pioneer (first company in lndia) in manufacturingTapioca starch, Glucose and Modified starches. During that era the company had the privilege to serveprestigious clientele like Sandoz, Corn Products, Mahindra and Mahindra, Shivaiji Works etc.
The rich heritage of manufacturing modified starch was taken forward by Mr. An and Karandikar (Director,Pearl Products).
In 2010, Dr.Satyajit Karandikar joined the business after completing his MSc. from UK and Marie Curie funded European PhD program in organic Chemistry. Under his guidance the company set its vision to deliver breakthrough products by providing sustainable solutions.
Today,we manufacture, and supply biopolymer based eco-friendly products to diverse industries likeTextiles,Paper packaging,Concrete admixture (Construction),ceramics，Adhesives，Agriculture and Foundry.
