PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
description
Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) is a hygroscopic, amorphous, multifunctional synthetic polymer.PVP is a water-soluble polymer used as a stabiliser, emulsifier, suspending agent, solubiliser, protective colloid and complexing agent. In solution, it readily forms thin films, which makes it an additive to paints or coatings.PVP is also used as a plasma expander for trauma victims and as a binder for many pharmaceutical tablets.PVP also enhances enzyme stability.
