Other effects include painful nodular periosteal swelling, osteoporosis, itching, skin eruptions, ulcerations, drowsiness, alopecia, liver enlargement, diplopia and papilledema. ACUTE/CHRONIC HAZARDS: When heated to decomposition, this compound emits toxic fumes of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide. It is harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through the skin.
