2,6-Diethylaniline is degraded by the soil microorganism Chaetomium globosum to 2,6-diethylacetanilide and 2,6-diethyl-p-benzoquinone.
The BCF was measured for 2,6-diethylaniline in Gambusia fish at 120(1). According to a classification scheme(2), this BCF suggests the potential for bioconcentration in aquatic organisms is high.
