We were established in 1961. Our first formulation plant, built to American standards, was commissioned in 1962. In 1989 we set up the API facility and our first delivery rolled out early the following year. We started research in Biotechnology in 1998 and launched our first indigenously developed product in 2010.

Today, we offer a portfolio which consists of Solid Orals, Injectables, Ophthalmics, Biosimilars, Biologicals Reagents, Peptides, APIs and Custom Peptide Services.

Our marketing operations are global. Besides India, we have established a formidable reputation as a reliable healthcare partner in more than 65+ countries around the world. It is a matter of pride for us to have a growing customer base which includes some of the world's leading healthcare companies.

We occupy a unique place in the pharmaceutical industry. While we compete successfully with reputed multinationals in the Finished Dosage markets in India and a number of Asian, African and CIS countries, we supply quality APIs to some of them and partner with others for in-licensing arrangements in India.

In Research and Development we have a team of scientists from world renowned institutes who work in areas crucial to our existing business and future operations. The 12 patents granted and 15 filings pending approval are an indication of the success of our research effort.
