The history of Hindustan Gum traces back to 1956, when the Birla Brothers established "Bhiwani Gum and Guar Gum Factory" in collaboration with Stein Hall of USA (now Rhodia Inc.). It was a significant event as the first Guar Gum factory was set up in India, manufacturing guar gum, guar gum powder, cationic gum and textile thickener in bulk. The pioneering Guar Gum factory was acquired in 1962 and Hindustan Gum came into existence.
Ever since then we have been premium manufacturers of guar gum, guar gum powder, cationic gum and textile thickener, and have been providing these world ?C class products to the domestic as well as to the global market.

Today, Hindustan Gum has developed into a major industrial unit, manufacturing guar gum, guar gum powder, cationic gum and textile thickener that conform to international standards. Hindustan Gum is a joint venture of Rhodia Inc., USA, and the M.P. Birla Group, India.
