Production method O-nitrobenzenesulfonamide is obtained by reduction. O-nitrobenzenesulfonamide, hot water, and acetic acid were placed in a reaction tank, and the mixture was stirred and heated to boiling. Iron scraps were added in 6 portions, half an hour apart. The reaction solution is kept boiling while the iron filings are added. Add iron filings and continue to boil for 3h. Filtered while hot, the filter residue is boiled in hot water and filtered. The two filtrates were combined and cooled to crystallize overnight. Filtration and drying gave o-aminobenzenesulfonamide.
