The antibacterial spectrum is similar to gentamicin, and the cross-resistance with other aminoglycosides is lighter. The product is characterized by stability to aminoglycoside acetyltransferase AAC. This enzyme can inactivate kanamycin, amikacin, ribomycin, gentamicin, etc. Therefore, the product is effective against resistant bacteria that produce the enzyme.

This product can inhibit the synthesis of bacterial protein and at the same time destroy the bacterial cell wall. The antibacterial spectrum is similar to that of gentamicin. It has antibacterial effect on both Gram-negative and positive bacteria.
