2,5-Di-tert-butylhydroquinone nature：
White or yellowish crystal. Melting point 217-219 ℃. Soluble in ethanol, acetone, ethyl acetate and carbon disulfide, slightly soluble in benzene, gasoline, insoluble in water. It is stable in storage.
2,5-Di-tert-butylhydroquinone purpose：
2,5-Di-tert-butylhydroquinone is used as antioxidant of natural rubber, synthetic rubber and latex. It can delay the oxidation aging and ultraviolet aging of vulcanizate and unvulcanized rubber. It is a colorless and non polluting antioxidant that does not pollute rubber products and does not change color under sunlight. Oxidation resistance is better than the usual antioxidant, and can also improve the heat resistance and flex cracking resistance of rubber products. The effective amount is 0.5-1 phr. The product has good anti-aging effect on adhesive. It is easy to disperse and has no effect on vulcanization. The product is suitable for manufacturing light colored rubber products, medical supplies, latex products and adhesive tapes. It can also be used as antioxidant of oil and synthetic resin. It can be used as heat and light stabilizer of polyolefin and POM in plastics industry.
