Sulindac nature：
Yellow crystal, odorless and tasteless. It is easily deliquescent. It is slightly soluble in ethanol, acetone, ethyl acetate or chloroform, but hardly soluble in methanol. When pH value is less than 4.5, it is almost insoluble in water, and the solubility increases with the increase of pH value. When pH value is 7, it is about 3.0mg/ml. Melting point 182-185 ℃ (decomposition). UV maximum absorption (methanol solution of 0.1mol/l hydrogen chloride): 327285256226nm (e1cm1% 375420410540). pKa(25℃)4.7。
Sulindac purpose：
Approved by the FDA in 978. As a precursor drug, it does not have the activity of anti-inflammatory and analgesic, but it can be absorbed into metabolized sulfide orally. It is used for rheumatoid arthritis, arm and knee arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, bursitis, acute gout, etc.
