5-(2-Hydroxyethyl)-4-methylthiazole chemical property：
Colorless to light yellow viscous oily liquid, after long storage, the color becomes dark. It has unpleasant odor of thiophene compounds and nut aroma when highly diluted. The boiling point is 103 ℃ (133pa), or 135 ℃ (933pa). It is soluble in water, ethanol, ether, benzene and chloroform.
