In the copper complexation processes,?ethoxy group may be substituted with hydroxy.

Properties and Applications

olive green. Soluble in water for Yellow olive green, not soluble in alcohol. The strong sulfuric acid to red light brown, diluted red for sauce. The dye solution with strong hydrochloric acid have blue-ray gray precipitation; Add thick sodium hydroxide solution have olive green precipitation.
