Preparation

(a) 3 – (Dimethylamino) phenol and Furan-2 ,5-dione melting (BP 2635/89); (b) Dimethylamine and resorcinol – Furan-2 ,5-dione?in 170 ~ 200 ℃ and the pressure reaction (BP 10047/90).

Properties and Applications

Pink, Soluble in water for a yellow fluorescent red solution, slightly soluble in ethanol, have intense yellow fluorescence. The strong sulfuric acid is palm in light yellow, with strong green fluorescent, diluted red rose. The dye solution to join sodium hydroxide fade away.
