Purification Methods
The acid gives yellow crystals by repeated dissolution in aqueous NaOH and adding aqueous HCl. It has UV with max at 235, 260 and 265nm ( 11,000, 10,500 and 9,000) in 0.1N HCl and 263 and 365nm ( 20,500 and 9,000) in 0.1N NaOH. [UV: Pfleiderer et al.
