What is PP3?
Chemical properties
Whit to Off-White Solid
The Uses of PP3
The Src family of non-receptor tyrosine kinases regulate cell adhesion, growth, and differentiation through activation of multiple intracellular signaling pathways. Normally inactive, Src kinases are transiently activated during mitosis and constitutively activated by abnormal mutations. Several small molecule inhibitors of this signaling pathway have been developed as a therapeuptic strategy to abate abnormal Src kinase activity. PP3 is an inactive analog of the Src tyrosine kinase inhibitors PP1 and PP2 . At concentrations as high as 10 μM, it does not prevent proliferation mediated by a stem cell factor/mast cell growth factor in hematopoietic and cancer cell lines.[Cayman Chemical]
The Uses of PP3
Intermediate in the preparation of various enzymatic inhibitors
What are the applications of Application
PP 3 is a negative control for the Src family protein tyrosine kinase inhibitor PP2
Definition
ChEBI: 1-phenyl-4-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidinamine is a ring assembly and a member of pyrazoles.
Biological Activity
Negative control for the src kinase inhibitor PP 2 (3-(4-chlorophenyl)1-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin-4-amine ). Inhibits EGFR kinase (IC 50 = 2.7 μ M).
