The Uses of LITHIUM CHLORIDE HYDRATE
Lithium chloride is widely employed in lithium metal production. It is used as a brazing flux for aluminum in automobile parts. Its use can also be seen as a desiccant for drying air streams. In biochemical applications, lithium chloride is used to precipitate RNA from cellular extracts.
